If there is exceess electricity produced, a net-metering contract with your utility company can add to your return.
Normally, your home or business is powered by electricity from the grid. When your Windspire is turning with the wind, you will use the electricity it produces and draw less from the grid. This saves you money each month.
If there is no wind, then you will automatically draw the electricity you need from the grid again.
